Preserved stem ginger in a syrup with sweet spices and lemon. Delicious as part of a charcuterie or cheese board. Try it chopped with ice cream for a twist, in salad or fruit salad or slithered into stir fries. Perfect with Oriental dishes, desserts or cakes. Will mellow with time in the fridge.
The aromatic and infused syrup can be used as a glaze, as part of a marinade or in place of honey in salad dressings
Size: 200ml supplied in a sterilized glass jar.

Totally enjoy the preserved stem ginger and can absolutely recommend it. Delicate soft fruity tangy pieces that deliver a strong ginger punch, without being mushy. Personally, I often love to sneak a piece for snacking, but I also added the versatile syrup to my sweet potatoes and chop up a few pieces when cooking curry and chutney. Beautiful with ice cream, cottage cheese and in baked puddings. Really a pantry must have!
